I was invited to take part in the exhibition-sale “L’Art pour l’Espoir” for the benefit of the APECO Occitanie association which works for children with cancer in the region.
This exhibition took place from January 30 to February 25, 2023 in the Communauté Municipale de Santé, 2 rue Malbec in Toulouse.
More than 150 people came to the opening of the exhibition, which was a great occasion.
The painter Julie D’Aragon (the organizer) and photographer Arnaud Brukhnoff shared this worthwhile project with me.
I was proud to be able to contribute to this charitable action.
The exhibition and sale was a great success.
Below, find the translated into english La Dépêche press article :
“The Municipal Health Community and its exhibition manager, Stéphane Mainville, welcome, rue Malbec, three artists, Julie d’Aragon, painter, Caroline White (CRB), sculptor and Arnaud Brukhnoff, photographer for an exhibition-sale as part of “L’Art pour l’Espoir” which is for the benefit of APECO (Cancer Children’s Parents Association in Occitanie).
This association, founded in 1988 is a reference for hospitals in Toulouse. It helps these young patients to realize their dreams.
For Julie d’Aragon, her favourite impressionist subjects are the cities she has visited, street scenes and bullfights.
Caroline White is a painter and sculptor of English origin living and working in Saint-Félix-Lauragais for more than 30 years. She works in several materials: bronze, wood, plaster, watercolour, oils, pencil… She draws, she paints, she shapes, she cuts, she assembles… and also produces monumental works to order.
Arnaud Brukhnoff devotes himself to his passion, photography. He also resurrects old anonymous photographic plates and retouches them. Three very different artists to discover in the same place… and for a good cause!”
